		<description>Wow... Amazon&#039;s ECx DCs are a total mess. They took significant portions of Zynga and Splunk down for nearly a full day back at the beginning of the summer. I&#039;m not close enough to anybody on that side of AMZN to know what&#039;s up: did they give you any solid explanation for how an ostensibly redundant DC could have a &quot;power failure&quot;? Because, where I come from, that absolutely does not happen barring a natural disaster.</description>

		<description>This is a great example of what I like most about start-up culture. In addition, I believe this attitude can also be found at the individual level of a company. It can be a willingness among employees to help out on a project that is way outside of their normal job responsibilities, or even taking a new co-worker out to lunch to make him or her feel more welcome. Extending a helping hand at all levels is the mark of a quality company.</description>
